Defensive Pistol II  introduces you into reacting to threats and situations you may encounter. Threats aren’t static, nor do they stop with one shot. In this course, you will learn to move while engaging a threat with multiple shots. We will teach how to clear different kinds of malfunctions while moving to cover until you get your weapon back in the fight. Once behind cover, you will learn correct techniques for shooting from cover, both strong and support hand. You must demonstrate safe skills to continue to Defensive Pistol III. 

PREREQUISITE: Defensive Pistol I

REQUIRED EQUIPMENT: 

• Mid or Full Size Pistol or Full Size Revolver

• Strong Side Holster (Holster on your hip from the hand you shoot with)

• Sturdy Belt (To keep your holster in place)

• Eye and Ear Protection

• 3 Pistol Magazines

• Magazine Pouches

AMMUNITION REQUIREMENTS: 

• 300 Rounds of Range Ammo

*If you don’t have a mid or full size pistol, we will supply a pistol with holster
