Red Dot Pistol
The Red Dot Sight (RDS) Pistol course is designed for shooters who have made or are currently transitioning from pistol iron sights to red dot sights. This course is not for shooters who do not have a firm grasp of the fundamentals of pistol marksmanship, but rather capable pistol shooters looking to transition their sight.
Students will learn about the advantages and disadvantages of using RDS on the pistol; method of carry (concealed or duty rig) is dependent on the student.

Common causes for not finding the Dot.

Grip & Stance considerations

Draw stroke and finding the dot

Tracking the dot (recoil management) and analysis of shooting errors

Reacquiring the dot after reloading
PREREQUISITE: Defensive Pistol I or equivalent training
COST: $300.00- Law enforcement and military current or past $100 off

Strong Side Holster (Holster on your hip from the hand you shoot with)

Sturdy Belt (To keep your holster in place)

AMMUNITION REQUIREMENTS:
· 400 Rounds of Range Ammo
This course is P.O.S.T. approved class in Tennessee. It also approved by the Metro Nashville Police Department as a substitute for taking the class at the PD.
